If you’re looking for a peaceful escape away from the usual hustle and crowded tourist spots, this cosy homestay in Kaffergaon is the perfect retreat. Nestled in a small offbeat village, it offers the ideal environment to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with nature.
The rooms are clean, warm, and thoughtfully maintained, giving a comforting “home away from home” feeling. One of the highlights is definitely the food — every meal is delicious, fresh, and cooked with so much care that it truly adds to the whole experience.
The staff deserves a special mention. They are incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely kind, making your stay even more pleasant. Their hospitality reflects the simplicity and warmth of the place.
And the view — waking up to the majestic Kanchenjunga right outside your window is something unforgettable. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and exactly what you need if you’re craving a break from fast-paced life.
Overall, this Kaffergaon homestay is a hidden gem. Perfect for anyone who wants tranquility, good food, and beautiful mountain views. Highly recommended for a slow, relaxing getaway.

If you’re looking for a serene getaway with a front-row seat to the Sleeping Buddha, look no further. The vibe here is so peaceful, and the hospitality is even better. The owner, are incredibly kind, and the food is pure comfort on a plate. We spent our nights around a bonfire with a delicious barbecue, all without breaking the bank. A 10/10 experience that I highly recommend.
Just cheerished a fresh and lots of lovely memories with my family, majestic kanchenjunga will never fail to welcome you.
Time will definitely overtake your emotions and you'll always chase even after returning home.
Very kind owner and staffs are so helpful that you doubt them as your old mates. They even help my wife to cook for my 1.5 yrs old son.
In evening we had Bar-B-Que and Bonfire to enhance our warmth in mid of chilly weather.
2 -3 days are must if you are looking for peace and want to do nothing at all.
